Our Adventure Flight

If you want to experience the Bavarian landscape from a bird’s-eye view on a balloon ride, look out at the towering peaks of the Alps and enjoy boundless freedom, then discover the unique fascination of ballooning. Our balloon rides usually start from Bad Griesbach in Lower Bavaria and, weather permitting, take place up to twice a day. For meteorological reasons, balloon rides in summer can only be carried out early in the morning or late in the afternoon. Don’t forget your ID, as the wind may even carry us into Austria. Bring your camera—during the balloon ride you’ll have unique photo opportunities over Bavaria and the Alps. If the weather is unfavorable, you will of course receive an alternative date. Wear practical clothing that can get a bit dirty. Sturdy footwear is required, as we often land on meadows or uneven terrain.

It’s not colder in the basket than it is on the ground. Since the hot air balloon drifts with the wind, you won’t feel any draft during the ride. Simply wear clothing appropriate for the season—similar to what you’d wear for a hike. After the gentle landing, we’ll celebrate the experience together with one or more glasses of sparkling wine and present you with your personal balloonist baptism certificate as a keepsake of your balloon ride.
